Charlene W. Duval is a highly experienced education professional with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Francis Marion University, specializing in Remediation & Intervention for At-Risk Students. With a career spanning three decades in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult education, Mrs. Duval brings unique and current expertise directly relevant to military and career readiness.
She currently serves as a Curriculum Development and Training Instructor at a prominent military program, where her primary focus is designing and delivering instruction to new employees preparing to teach Army Recruits who enter the service with low ASVAB scores in Math, Vocabulary, and Reading Comprehension. Furthermore, she was a key contributor in co-designing the curriculum currently utilized at this military program for ASVAB preparation. This hands-on experience provides a deep understanding of the exact skills necessary for success on the exam.
Mrs. Duval also has extensive foundational experience in curriculum development for college readiness, including developing intervention courses for students on academic probation , and previously directed a federally funded Gear Up Program for at-risk students in grades 7-12.
